You start on W1 Surface in The Overworld. An April 2025 walkthrough recorded a starting bubble capacity of 10 and the basic bubble. The Common Egg on that surface costs 10 coins. Blow, sell, hatch, and climb. Pets are the multipliers. Gum and flavors are the bubble size you can actually reach.
First thirty minutes
- Join the official place, 85896571713843. Do not use codes from the original Bubble Gum Simulator.
- Open the code box and redeem the strings on the codes page before a long hatch session. Several rewards are luck, hatch speed, or egg consumables. Drink them while you are hatching, not while you are standing in a menu.
- Hatch the Common Egg until the team is better than Doggy and Kitty. On the published card, Doggy and Kitty are Common at +1 bubble and x1.1 coins. Bunny is Unique at +2 and x1.2. Bear is Rare at +2 and x1.5 with a 5% card chance. Equip the best card you pulled.
- Take Basic Gum from the Overworld Gum Store if it is still free. It is listed at 10 bubbles. Stretchy Gum is the next coin purchase: 45 bubbles for 25 coins. Chewy Gum is 125 bubbles for 250 coins. Buy size that you will use before you buy a cosmetic.
- Sell on the W1 surface board. That zone lists the sell ratio as 1 = 2. Twilight later lists 1 = 5. Read the board in the zone you are standing in.
- Climb when the next egg is affordable. Floating Island is the first height gate. The zones article lists it at 410 meters, and an older data page lists 405 meters. The Spikey Egg there costs 5,000 coins.
The first real checkpoint
Outer Space is listed at 2,640 meters. It opens Mastery, the Outer Space Gum Store, Doggy Jump, and the Magma Egg at 15,000 coins. Pets Mastery is the track that later allows shiny pets. Level 2 of that mastery is the published requirement before a shiny can hatch. Level 4 is the published pity: one shiny every 75 eggs.
The Hatching Zone is a separate gate. The surface page lists its requirement as 10K and does not restate the unit in that table, so read the in-game prompt. The Infinity Egg, the Rebirth Machine, and Secret Bounty are the features listed there. Do not dump early coins into the Infinity Egg before you can reach Outer Space and keep a coin reserve for the next island.
What to ignore on day one
Chat trade offers, paid gum that matches a coin gum's bubble number, and any code archive that still prints RELEASE. VIP Gum is 249 Robux for 550 bubbles, the same bubble figure listed for Epic Gum, which costs 1,500 coins. Infinity Gum is a different product: 799 Robux and an infinite bubble figure.
The Shadow Realm is listed at 3,150 meters with a 50K requirement from the surface table. It is not the first island. Zen, at 15,955 meters, is the gate used by both later worlds.
